I am a writer and editor living in Austin, Texas. 

I contribute to publications including The New York Times, TIME, Newsweek, Fusion, Women in the World, The Daily Beast, Money, and more, primarily covering arts, culture, and news. I have interviewed authors, fashion designers, hoteliers, and the coolest nonagenarian who’s ever lived. I’ve explored mind-bending art exhibits, endangered cocktails, and more than a few lost masterpieces. I’ve interviewed incredible women fighting against sexual violence and toured a spooky former prison being reclaimed by the women it once housed. 

Before returning to my Texas roots, I spent eight years in New York City where I served as the deputy managing editor, senior features editor, and editor of the style section at The Daily Beast. At the beginning of 2015, I jumped headfirst into the world of freelance writing and have also served as the New York editor of the Hong Kong-based LUXE City Guides.
